Today (12 Feb 2025), Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, mentioned the joint parliamentary meeting to consider the draft Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, amending Section 256 and adding Chapter 15/1 to pave the way for the drafting of a new constitution on 13-14 Feb. that the Bhumjaithai Party has resolved not to join the consideration of the amendment of the constitution on 13-14 Feb. because it sees that the inclusion of the agenda still conflicts with the Constitutional Court's ruling in 2021, which stated that a referendum must be asked of the people first.
